Welcome to the NEW Simopsis!

Hello everyone! I hope you have found your way over here okay - there were plenty of links posted here to the new site. A lot of work has bee going into this site over the past while, especially the past few days, to get this site up and running.

One of the first things you will see is our new address, simopsis.smfnew.com! We are no longer hosted by forumotion, but rather SMFNew. As you can tell by our hosts name, our new board runs on SMF as opposed to Forumotion-modded PunBB. You may also notice we have a new logo. I designed the new logo to match our new, modern/urban look.

Along with our new software, new design we have some other new features over our old forum:

• Simopsis Help Centre: Here you can find the Bugs & Technical Issues forum as well as the new tutorial centre! If you have any tutorials, please post them in the corresponding sub-forum.
• New Layout: Some forums have different posistions compared to the old site, including splitting site feedback and site announcements into 2 forums. The layout may be tweaked slightly over the next few days.

Also some exciting news on the creators front. As teased in the moving announcement which stated that H09 Productios will no longer be the sole signature creator, I am pleased to announce that we have added FC Productions (from Frex_Ceafus) and a forum for the SBT - Simmania BAT Team. Please be sure to give these creators a warm welcome!

A few things differ here from the old site. Chat (which was never used, anyways... ) is now a shoutbox which you can find on the bottom of the forums. As well, our portal now uses the forum theme and plug-in provided by our host. This portal has site news, our twitter feed, general board statistics and a photo reel. You can submit your photos in the photo submission thread in "Simopsis Feedback."

Anyways, that should be it from me with regards to the new site. A few things will be tweaked over the coming days, namely a few forums may get moved. I am excited to present to you our new home, and hope you enjoy your stay! Please state that your survived the move posting below.


P.S. - Cheese: The angry clowns and cowplants have finally been loaded onto the moving truck and will make their way here over the coming days.

Glad you're impressed. As for the angry clowns and cowplants, I took the liberty of putting them in seperate trucks, let alone separate cages.

I keep mentioning this so I wanted to make sure this was accurate 
But, that is correct than that the most members the old site had was 10 ?
I would really like us to get past this mile stone

Yep! The most the old site had was 10 members, you are correct.
Your efforts to get us past our milestone is appreciated - even at the current clip the site is the most active it has ever been.

I'm hoping advertising the site in my Sims 3 uploads helps as well - they typically get about 500 downloads. Some more, some less.
